Job summary

Allied Universal in Tucson, AZ is hiring Security Guards for PT & Flex shifts. The role includes providing customer service, enforcing safety procedures, and patrolling client sites in varied environments.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of security experience, a guard card if required by Arizona DPS, and is able to work nights, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts. Employment includes benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner

Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour

PT & Flex Positions

The Ideal Candidate would have:

• 6+ months of security experience.
• Valid guard card/security officer license if required by Arizona DPS
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and conduct regular patrols
• Work Outside in the Elements
• Basic ability to use computers, radios, cameras, access-control systems, and incident-reporting software
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, visitor records, and other required
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, or rotating shifts may be required
