Allied Universal in Delphi, IN is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, flexible security coverage at an assigned site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with potential to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings, up to a 40‑hour week.

Pay is $15.15 per hour. Responsibilities include security procedures, incident response, and patrols across production, warehouses, and office areas, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and document entries and incidents.
• Support a controlled environment by reporting policy violations and security concerns to management.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Delphi, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document entries, observations, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a controlled environment by reporting policy violations, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, and other security‑related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
