Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, common spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, reporting unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports and provide clear shift handoff information to Allied Universal personnel.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
