Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Horn Lake, MS. You will patrol diverse environments such as retail, airports, and detention centers, reading environments, anticipating risk, and acting accordingly.

This role requires standing and moving throughout the shift with a focus on quick threat response and security incident documentation; background checks and screening are part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass extensive screening
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Set schedule: Full-Time, 3rd Shift, 10pm-6am (Various work schedules are available)

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

• You have a state license if required
