Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Security Guards in California. The role offers $21.00 per hour with morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts available, across various client sites including commercial real estate, healthcare, education and government.

Minimum requirements include being at least 18 (or 21 for armed), a high school diploma or 5 years’ experience, and passing background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving roles where applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments may vary by client site.
