Overview
Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job): The Security Ambassador is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, team members, and company assets while providing excellent customer service. The focus should always be on creating a safe and comfortable environment with a positive attitude and a high level of guest service for both external and internal guests of Live! Casino.
Responsibilities
Core Service Standards:
- CLEAN: Maintain a neat, clean, and impeccable property appearance and personal appearance.
- SAFE: Ensure guests feel safe and comfortable, providing a worry-free experience.
- Fast: Offer quick, accurate service, meet time requirements, and anticipate guest needs.
- FRIENDLY: Greet guests warmly, make eye contact, smile, and use H.E.A.R.T. steps to ease concerns. Say thank you to departing guests.
- FUN: Work as a team to create a fun environment for everyone.
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
- Check IDs of guests entering the casino, refuse entry to minors or prohibited items.
- Explain casino rules, regulations, and conduct codes.
- Interact professionally with the public, assist, give directions, and respond to inquiries.
- Assist with disputes, intoxicated guests, criminal matters, and traffic control.
- Resolve complaints within authority or refer to management.
- Report unusual events, incidents, or crimes to supervisors or management.
- Respond to medical or fire emergencies.
- Operate security communication equipment.
- Manage the Employee/Visitor Entrance, log visitors and vendors.
- Monitor passage in and out of restaurant and gaming areas.
- Control traffic in valet and parking areas.
- Investigate injuries and incidents.
- Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
- Report safety hazards.
- Ensure safety and security of all guests and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to write reports and use a telephone properly.
- Ability to read memos, multi-task, and provide excellent customer service.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work under pressure and stay alert.
- Dexterity for daily activities and emergencies.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years of security experience, especially in guest service, preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, work in extreme temperatures, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate a vehicle.
Working Conditions
- 24/7 casino environment with exposure to smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
