Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Hospital Care Protection in Cleveland, OH. You will serve patients, staff, and visitors, monitor entrances, and maintain a welcoming environment while upholding safety procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will perform patrols, respond calmly to incidents, and document events for leadership, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background investigation and drug screen.
• Vaccination requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with visitor guidance, wayfinding, and access procedures while maintaining a courteous and compassionate presence in a healthcare setting.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
