Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Experienced Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS to serve and safeguard clients across industries, including Tech/Media/Telecom. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain visibility, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, while communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
