As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government transportation location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report unusual activity, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and personnel. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
• Report maintenance concerns, traffic-related issues, suspicious activity, and other security-related observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
