Qualifications

• 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen may be required where legally permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time One Year Experience Patrol in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and public-service personnel while providing assistance and escalating concerns through designated channels.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
