Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Guard Enhanced role in Jacksonville, FL. The position offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment, plus optional pick-up shifts to increase earnings across multiple sites.

This role requires an armed guard card and active DoD Secret Clearance, with CPR/First Aid preferred. You will provide security, respond to incidents, and maintain detailed reports while supporting a dynamic aerospace/defense site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while enforcing security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns calmly and professionally per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged barriers, unsecured access points, and other security issues to site contacts and leadership.
• Maintain accurate incident, patrol, and daily activity reports per site requirements.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Tue: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Wed: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged barriers, unsecured access points, and other security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.


• Maintain accurate incident, patrol, and daily activity reports in accordance with site requirements and applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.


• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
