Qualifications

• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, and banking operations; verify credentials and report suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document activities.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports while handling sensitive information.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri08:30 AM - 06:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, and banking operations; verify credentials and report unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to policy.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security‑related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security‑related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
