Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking a Security Guard to maintain a welcoming, safe, and secure club site. You will patrol buildings and grounds and ensure restricted areas stay locked.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or equivalent; security certification is preferred. At least 1 year of security experience is required, and CPR/First Responder certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Security certification is preferred.
• One year of experience working in the security field.
• Individual must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Responder certification, within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential risk/safety issues.
• Must have conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and problem solving and persuasion skills.

Salary Range: $16.50 To $18.76 Hourly
