Job summary

PalAmerican Security in California seeks an Unarmed Security Guard to patrol multiple sites, deter unlawful activity, and deliver customer care with empathy.

You will keep logs, respond to incidents, and collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. A valid security license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols via foot patrol or motor vehicle.
• Serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activity.
• Provide superior customer care and empathy to all individuals.
• Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports.
• Respond to security incidents and suspicious activities.

Swing and Grave shifts - Clean driving record required and must be 21+

Additional Requirements:

• CPR, AED, and first-aid certification
• EMT certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Senior-living, healthcare, hospitality, or residential security experience preferred
• Strong situational awareness and calm, decisive decision-making
• Strong customer-service, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work compassionately with elderly residents
• Ability to operate campus carts and authorized vehicles
• Ability to recognize falls, head injuries, loss of consciousness, bleeding, and other medical warning sign
