As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible throughout the campus, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues within the educational environment.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with security-related questions or directions as needed while maintaining a courteous presence.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal policies and procedures.
• Document incidents and complete required reports accurately and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with campus personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
