Job summary

Allied Universal, a North American security and facility services leader, is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Driver in Foster City, CA. The role focuses on protecting clients in healthcare locations while delivering excellent customer service during night shifts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including exterior areas and perimeter, while reporting unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, supporting authorized entry to designated areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
