Job summary

Everything But The House (EBTH) is seeking a Security Guard to join our security team in Cincinnati, OH. This full‑time position runs 9:30 am–6 pm Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, typically once a month.

You will help protect people and property, monitor entrances, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and security of assigned facility.
• Monitor entrance of vehicles and people on site.
• Patrol designated areas per security procedures.
• Complete daily Activity Log.
• Identify security risks and respond appropriately.
• Prepare incident reports and documentation for all security incidents.
• Ensure employees and visitors have proper credentials (ID badges).
• Render First Aid and/or contact 911 in emergencies.
• Respond to emergencies promptly per policy.
• Assist employees and visitors with concerns.
• Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor alarms and CCTV.
• Communicate with Security Manager and others as needed.
• Assist with facilities duties and other duties as assigned.
