Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is seeking a Security Guard Data Center to monitor and protect a commercial real estate site. You will provide courteous customer service to tenants and visitors, conduct patrols, and control access at various entry points.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include at least 1 year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR and guard licenses are preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery/vendor entry in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
