GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer in Fresno, CA. You will monitor security systems, document incidents, and respond quickly to potential threats while maintaining a vigilant presence on site.

The role requires eligibility to work in the United States, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid BSIS Guard Card with 32 hours of security training. A part-time schedule and uniform provided are included, with opportunities for growth.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site Location: Fresno, CA
• Set schedule: Part-Time 17/31 hours
  • Shift 1: Monday - Tuesday 8:30AM - 5:30PM - 17 hours
  • Shift 2: Wednesday - Friday 8:30AM - 05:30PM and Saturday 8:30AM - 2:30PM - 31 hours
• Competitive hourly wage of $20.85 / hr (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
