Job summary

America's Auto Auction Columbus Fair is seeking a Security Guard to oversee site security operations, protecting employees, customers, assets, and facilities while supporting a safe environment during auction operations. This role manages security coverage, policies, and incident response across auction property, including vehicle lots, buildings, and sale-day operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment screening.
• Security, loss prevention, law enforcement, military, or related security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility access and ensure secure entry and exit for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Patrol the property to help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security concerns.
• Investigate and document security incidents and assist with implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and security partners when needed.
• Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and documentation.
• Support auction sale-day operations by assisting with crowd management, traffic flow, and overall site security.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
