Allied Universal in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking a Security Officer Credential Screening to serve clients across industries at an automotive manufacturing site. You will manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and respond calmly to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries, contractor access, and entry requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries, contractor access, employee entry requirements, and other security-related access needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
