Job summary

Washington Military Department is seeking a Security Guard 2 (Swing Shift) at Camp Murray in WA to provide 24/7 security coverage under the Security Guard 3 Shift Supervisor. You will patrol, control gate access, respond to incidents, and support Army/National Guard operations to safeguard personnel and facilities.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, two years in security or related fields, and the ability to obtain and maintain a firearm qualification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; two years of security or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver license for Washington State.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain firearm qualifications.
• Background checks, polygraph, and medical/fitness requirements are part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection and security for Camp Murray installations on a 24/7 basis.
• Patrols, inspects, and monitors buildings/grounds; controls gate access; respond to incidents.
• Collect information and write incident/investigative reports.
• Support Army/National Guard and Emergency Management during drills and emergencies.
