Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Jackson Center, Ohio is seeking a Security Guard to assist the security supervisor in maintaining a safe and secure site. The role offers a base pay of $15.50+ per hour with double time every other Sunday and a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

You will patrol the premises, control access for employees and visitors, monitor for intrusions, and coordinate with authorities in emergencies. Prior security experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts on the rotating schedule.
• Previous experience in a Security role preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patrolling the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors to guard against theft and maintain site safety.
• Call applicable authorities in case of emergency.
