Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Security Guard in Wilmington, Delaware to protect residents, staff, visitors and property. You will conduct proactive patrols, monitor security systems and control access to maintain a safe environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications or the ability to obtain them within three months. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of residents, team members, visitors and property through proactive patrols, monitoring cameras, access control and other life-safety systems.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms and security incidents while maintaining a visible security presence to deter misconduct and promote a safe environment.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates forour Security Guard position.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residents, team members, visitors, and property through proactive patrols, monitoring security cameras, access control, and other life-safety systems. Responds promptly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, and security incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct and proactively promote a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, or a related field (preferred)
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment)

Pay Range

$17.00 - $21.29 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
