SunEnergy1 is seeking a dependable Security Guard to protect a utility-scale solar construction site in North Carolina. The role involves monitoring access, safeguarding equipment and personnel, and reporting suspicious activity in an outdoor, remote environment.

You will conduct perimeter patrols, maintain logs, enforce safety procedures, respond to alarms, and coordinate with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior security/military/law enforcement or construction-site monitoring experience preferred.
• Valid security license if required by jurisdiction.
• Ability to stay alert and professional during long periods of low activity.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic report writing and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Detect, deter, and report trespassing, theft, vandalism, or hazardous conditions.

• Ensure gates, fencing, and security systems are secure and functioning.
