East Glen, a leading retail company in Des Moines, IA, is hiring a full-time Security Guard. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of our property and customers, with the primary location being Des Moines, IA.

As a Security Guard, you will perform routine patrols, monitor security systems, respond to alarms, and assist in emergency situations. You will also maintain a safe and secure environment by enforcing security policies and procedures.

You will work as part of a dedicated security team in a modern, well-maintained facility located in Des Moines, IA. The workplace is designed to support a positive and productive work environment, featuring ergonomic workstations, ample natural light, and comfortable seating. You will be responsible for monitoring security systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding to security incidents. You will use tools such as access control systems, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems to maintain a secure environment. The team operates on a 24/7 schedule, with rotating shifts to ensure continuous coverage. You will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, and previous experience in security or a related field is preferred. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver's license. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, and you must be able to pass a background check.
