Job summary

The County of San Juan is seeking qualified security professionals to perform security guard duties in accordance with regulations to detect and prevent theft, damage, accidents, trespass, sabotage and espionage. Responsibilities include enforcing installation security regulations, controlling access of vehicles and pedestrians, and verifying identities using ID cards, badges, biometrics, and questioning.

Position is full-time and permanent with a posted pay range of $45,409 – $73,796 per year

Perform security guard duties in accordance with appropriate regulations to detect and prevent theft, damage, accident, trespass, sabotage and espionage. Enforce the security regulations of the installation. Control access of vehicles and pedestrians to installation. Verify identification through use of identification cards, badges, bio-metrics automated records, verbal questioning, and other means.
