Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a bilingual-Spanish Surveillance Security Guard for the Tampa area to monitor multiple security systems and coordinate rapid responses within our GSOC environment. This on-site role requires keen observation, precise reporting, and strict adherence to procedures to protect people and property.

You will be part of a team ensuring the safety of the premises, supervising access, and collaborating with law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong report writing skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with command center dispatch, or high volume call center is preferred.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain required security licenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed security reports accurately.
• Enforce procedures, regulations and standards for visitors and staff.
• Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
• Document events with thorough reports and maintain logs.
• Patrol premises to ensure safety and deter threats.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when needed.
• Identify vulnerabilities in security systems and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Preferred experience as Command Center Dispatch/Operator OR High Volume Call Center
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skillsGood eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• Ability to obtain a Class D Security License
