Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Fort Worth, TX. This unarmed patrol position offers flexible hours and a fixed anchor shift with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Pay rate is $19.52 per hour, with duties including access control, incident response, and routine patrols. Prior CPR/First Aid credentials and customer service experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports of incidents and activities.
• Observe and report potential hazards or policy violations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, or policy violations to site leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
