Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Lancaster, TX, offering a flexible, dependable option to supplement income or build toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Relief, you will work fixed anchor shifts at a designated site with additional shifts available through our scheduling platform to increase earnings. Pay rate is $18.62 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A background investigation will be conducted.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, delivery issues, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver entry procedures per site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations and communicate to leadership.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Relief in Lancaster, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn-More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, delivery-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the logistics facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and driver entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
