Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Dallas, TX. You will provide security and customer service at a fixed site with opportunities to pick additional shifts and increase earnings.

The role offers a fixed anchor shift with six-month commitment, plus optional extra shifts via a scheduling platform. Starting pay is $19.57 per hour, with a path to full-time hours up to 40 per week.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location following security procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
