Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Readiness in Irving, TX. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, enabling you to earn more while maintaining a reliable base schedule.

Pay rate is $20.50 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service to tenants and visitors, incident response, and regular patrols.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Readiness in Irving, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding property to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and support site access procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and after‑hours activity.
• Maintain professional communication with property management, tenants, local authorities, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
