Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Flex Officer - Grave Patrol in Auburn, WA. This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts and increase earnings via our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service, respond to incidents, patrol the site, monitor access points, and document activities in line with policy and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify leadership or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify hazards and report policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances and exits and assist with access control and visitor interactions.
• Document observations and daily activities according to reporting requirements.

Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun - 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate store leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; assist with access control, visitor interactions, and compliance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
