Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer for the Otay Mesa location. The role offers open availability with a pay rate of $20.80/hour and options for weekly or daily pay.

You will use a shift-pickup platform to claim shifts across various industries, building site experience and flexibility to fit your schedule. The position involves patrolling designated areas, monitoring entrances, responding to alarms, and assisting clients and visitors in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or client vehicle.
• Background check in accordance with laws; eligible applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed)
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment
• Strong ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Active listening and problem-solving skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly

Responsabilités

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions creating security or safety concerns
• Sound alarms or contact police/fire in emergencies
• Warn violators of rule infractions and control access
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client compliance
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously
• Make emergency notifications per site orders
