Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/console equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially with the public.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively and clearly.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual conditions and address safety concerns.
• Sound alarms or contact authorities in emergencies.
• Warn violators and enforce site rules.
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
