Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Field Project Manager to lead complex security projects from scoping through delivery across the U.S. You will oversee schedules, costs, safety, and quality while ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with organizational standards.

The role requires 5+ years in security project management, a related degree, and willingness to deploy 6–18 months in the Dublin/Columbus area. A CSPM/PMP is preferred.

What You Will Do

As a Security Field Project Manager, you will lead complex security projects, ensuring they meet corporate priorities through expert project management. Your responsibilities include overseeing schedules, costs, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while adhering to Johnson Controls' operational principles.

How You Will Do It:

• Project Oversight: Manage security system installations, define project scope, and employ risk management strategies. Demonstrate accountability and integrity by ensuring all project deliverables align with organizational standards and client expectations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with project staff, customers, and management. Collaborate effectively across teams, valuing diverse perspectives to address challenges and optimize solutions.
• Financial Accountability: Oversee project budgets, forecast financial trends, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Adapt strategies swiftly to remove obstacles and ensure project fiscal goals are met efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct worksite inspections to guarantee adherence to quality standards. Engage in continuous improvement practices to refine processes and uphold excellence in service delivery.
• Customer Service: Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, fostering satisfaction and trust. Prioritize customer-centric approaches to enhance overall satisfaction and long-term relationships.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in project management.
• Five years of experience in security project management or new construction.
• Willingness to undertake deployments of 6-18 months, primarily in the Dublin/Columbis, OH area.

Preferred

• Preferred certifications: CSPM or PMI PMP, or willingness to obtain within six months.
• CSPM (Certified Security Project Manager)
• PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional)

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $106,000- 159,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
