# Security Exposure Management SMEApply**Job#: 3055830****Job Description:**Security Exposure Management SME**Location:** 3 days in office in either Tampa FL, Dallas TX, or New Jersey**Duration**: 6 month contract to hireRate: 75-85hr W2Role OverviewWe are seeking a senior Security Exposure Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the buildout and maturation of a newly established SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) and enterprise exposure-management capability. This individual will serve as a strategic and hands-on security expert responsible for integrating security solutions across a diverse SaaS ecosystem. The role will help the organization identify, correlate, and prioritize security exposures across interconnected platforms to create actionable risk-reduction strategies.Key Responsibilities* Lead technical integration of security tools with enterprise SaaS platforms and applications, including Snowflake, Salesforce, Zoom, and Ping Identity.* Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot API-based integrations between security platforms and SaaS solutions.* Identify and assess exposures across SaaS, cloud, endpoint, identity, application, data, and virtual environments.* Analyze vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, identities, and permissions to determine organizational risk and evaluate how weaknesses could create attack paths.* Establish risk-based prioritization based on exploitability, asset criticality, business impact, and existing controls.* Bring an attacker-first mindset to exposure management by evaluating how an adversary could exploit platform weaknesses.* Work closely with penetration testing, Red Team, Purple Team, and other security teams.* Serve as a thought leader in the continued evolution of the organization's SSPM and exposure-management capabilities.Required Qualifications* Senior-level experience across cybersecurity, exposure management, SaaS security, security architecture, vulnerability management, or offensive security.* Hands-on expertise with CrowdStrike technologies, preferably including exposure-management or SaaS security capabilities.* Understanding of SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) concepts and risks.* Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting API-based security integrations across complex enterprise environments.* Experience securing or integrating enterprise platforms such as Snowflake, Salesforce, identity platforms, and VDI.* Understanding of exposure management, attack-surface management, API security, identity and access management, and cloud security.* Ability to operate independently in a rapidly evolving security program.* Communication skills to translate complex technical exposures into clear risk narratives and recommendations.Preferred Qualifications* Experience building or maturing a net-new SSPM or Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) program.* Previous Red Team, penetration-testing, Purple Team, or advanced offensive-security experience.* Experience analyzing security across complex financial-services or regulated enterprise environments.* Familiarity with security automation, orchestration, data analytics, or security telemetry correlation.* Experience mentoring or providing technical direction to junior security engineers.* Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, GIAC, cloud security, or other advanced offensive-security certifications. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
