ERT, Inc. seeks a Security Engineer to join its team in Arlington, Virginia. This role involves working with an enterprise network architecture team to implement Zscaler solutions, enforce IT Security Governance policies, and ensure compliance across cloud applications.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree along with five years of relevant experience, or nine years in lieu. Desired skills include network engineering, DLP practices, and experience with cloud computing and tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) mission is to lead the national effort to protect and enhance the resilience of the nation's physical and cyber infrastructure. CISA includes six divisions such as the Cybersecurity Division, Emergency Communications Division, Integrated Operations Division, Infrastructure Security Division, Stakeholder Engagement Division, and the National Risk Management Center.
CISA’s IT landscape has historically produced networks and systems that were individually managed within each division. In this role you will work with an enterprise network architecture and engineering team to provide Zscaler Engineering support. You will design, test, and implement the Zscaler solution to manage connections between CISA users and cloud environments, enforce IT Security Governance policies to prevent data exposure, ensure compliance across SaaS applications, and drive innovation for management, functionality, and reporting across mission and IT groups.
Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance (Requirements: U.S. citizenship and favorable background investigation).
