Job summary

iROW9 INC is seeking a Security Engineer in Minnesota for a contract/full-time role within the Information Security team. The engineer will implement, tune, and support security tools and services, stay current with cyber threats, and help maintain security by design across infrastructure and applications.

The role requires 5+ years in security, certifications such as CISSP/CISM/CCSP/OSCP, and 3+ years with major standards (NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a security role.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with standards such as NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, and CIS Controls.
• 3+ years of experience in zero-trust, cloud security, IAM, endpoint protection, and/or network segmentation.
• Experience in identity governance, privileged access management (PAM), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, tune, and support security tools and services.
• Monitor the threat landscape and recommend technologies and controls for emerging risks.
• Integrate security solutions with infrastructure and applications.
• Perform health checks, upgrades, patching, and validation of detections and security coverage.
• Collaborate with Information Services teams to embed security by design.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Support audits, compliance efforts, and knowledge transfer.
