Job summary

Neuralink is seeking a Security Engineer to defend our fleet, networks, and cloud by building detections, responding to incidents, and hardening systems. You will threat model, review, and test the software we ship—from firmware to cloud services—while working embedded with our Software team to identify high-impact security problems and implement fixes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering or security operations experience.
• Strong fundamentals in OS internals, networks, and auth.
• Experience detecting and responding to incidents.
• Attacker mindset with end-to-end ownership.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Triage and investigate alerts across endpoints, identity, network, email, and cloud.
• Lead incident response from detection through root cause and remediation.
• Build and tune detections and automation (SIEM/EDR/SOAR).
• Hardening corporate security infrastructure (SSO/MFA, endpoint, email security).
• Perform threat modeling and secure design reviews for Neuralink products.
