Job summary

Simile is seeking a Security Engineer to ensure the security of novel AI products. This role involves managing technical security discussions with enterprise customers and developing tooling for safe code shipping.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in application or infrastructure security, particularly in AWS environments. Compensation ranges between $200,000 and $400,000, with equity options and health benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application or infrastructure security within a high‑growth environment.
• Deep expertise in securing AWS environments; experience with GCP or Azure is a major plus.
• Ability to think like an attacker to anticipate risks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers on security agreements and data handling requirements.
• Conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews.
• Develop tooling for safe code shipping.
• Oversee bug bounty program and vulnerability scanning.
• Build defenses against AI‑novel risks.
