Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Security Engineer to secure a rapidly evolving product used by millions of developers. You will shape security reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices across our application and cloud platforms.

Collaborate with product and engineering to embed security early in the lifecycle. You will operate on a small, high-trust team at the frontier of security challenges and agentic product features.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience designing, building, or securing complex applications and cloud systems.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent training, or professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with security reviews, SDLC, secure CI/CD, architecture reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability management, bug bounty and responsible disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Support and mature Sentry's security review program across code and architecture.
• Contribute to vulnerability management: intake, triage, remediation tracking, bug bounty support.
• Advocate for secure-by-design principles and integrate security into development workflows.
• Validate and reproduce security findings across Sentry's application, SDKs, and cloud platform.
• Monitor emerging threats relevant to application security at Sentry.
