Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security tools protecting IT and OT environments. The role requires hands-on expertise with SIEM, EDR, DLP, and vulnerability management, plus scripting in PowerShell or Python and cross-team collaboration.

You will onboard log sources, tune detection rules, build dashboards, and drive remediation with IT and OT teams while maintaining documentation and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in security engineering, security operations or related role.
• Experience implementing, administering, troubleshooting SIEM/EDR/DLP, network security, vulnerability management.
• Ability to develop scripts using PowerShell or Python, with API experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux, networks, access controls, and common attack techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security tools protecting IT and OT environments.
• Develop scripts, integrations, and workflows to automate security tasks.
• Onboard log sources, tune detection rules, and build dashboards for monitoring.
• Coordinate remediation and improve reporting on security findings.
• Support incident containment, remediation, and post-incident reviews.
• Maintain security documentation, runbooks, and support audits.
