Job summary

DV Trading is seeking a Web3 Security Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will work directly with our security engineers on scoped projects that support threat detection and risk management in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities include triage of detections, tuning security tooling, automation, and helping with risk assessments and reporting under mentorship. This internship offers hands-on experience in a world-class security program at DV Trading.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a CS or information security degree or equivalent.
• Interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to learn.
• Exposure to scripting or programming and basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day security operations under mentor guidance.
• Triage, document, and track security detections and incidents.
• Assist with tuning and maintaining security tooling.
• Contribute to automation/scripting projects for security workflows.
• Support risk assessments, gap analysis, and control testing.
• Help produce reporting and metrics on security program health.
• Assist with security awareness initiatives across the firm.

Overview: DV Trading’s security team is looking for a Security Engineer Intern to get hands-on exposure to a real trading firm’s security program. You’ll work directly with our security engineers on scoped projects that support day-to-day operations, threat detection, and risk management in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
