Nuro is hiring an Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen the security of its core infrastructure used to develop and operate autonomous delivery services. You will work with development teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security tooling and infrastructure across cloud, networks, and applications.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership, and clear communication, with opportunities to influence security decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Expert in one or more core domains: securely using a public cloud, securing corporate networks and endpoints, or application security.
• Software development skills, preferably in Python, Go, or C++.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly in a highly engineering-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and secure Nuro infrastructure and protect user data.
• Evaluate and verify engineering teams' vulnerability remediations across projects.

For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $160,360 and $240,540 for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
