Job summary

Amazon's VM R Campaign Management is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join the team in Austin, TX. You will assess campaigns, design automation, and drive remediation of security, compliance, and privacy risks across the Amazon ecosystem at scale.

You will work with security teams to identify preventative measures, develop tools and workflows, and maintain a high security and quality bar across infrastructure, services and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with threat modeling or risk identification techniques.
• Experience in scripting and programming and security code reviews.
• 2+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar OO language.
• 5+ years in security vulnerabilities identification, attack patterns and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Launch campaigns at scale while maintaining security and quality.
• Assess technical details of campaigns and reduce manual remediation via automation.
• Collaborate with security teams to address current and future risk.
