As a successful Application Security Engineer within ATG Security, you will be seen as a strong leader who prioritizes well, communicates clearly and compellingly understands how to drive a high level of operational and strategic excellence within a team, while collaborating with a variety of internal and external business partners. You must show exemplary judgment in making technical trade-offs between short- versus long-term security and business goals. A successful candidate must be one that can handle several difficult challenges and problems, can make risk-based assessments founded on data and facts rather than older static based security paradigms, though being aware of the older best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 3+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review in a common programming language (non-internship) experience
• - 3+ years of scripting, programming, or security code review in a common language, such as Python, Java or C++ experience
• - 3+ years of any combination of the following: threat modeling experience, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security experience
• - Knowledge of industry-based security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS products and services
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++
• Experience in one or more of the following: application security frameworks, security code reviews, incident response, security infrastructure, penetration testing, mobile security, cloud security, AI security, identity and access controls
• Deep understanding of GenAI security and experience performing security reviews against GenAI platforms

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
