Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC seeks a Senior Security Engineer to lead ERD security reviews, threat modeling, and privacy risk assessments across AI systems, cloud, and APIs.

You will perform penetration testing, build security automation, and drive remediation with engineering teams while communicating risks and practical mitigations. 5+ years of experience required; degree in CS/cybersecurity preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in security engineering or related security role
• Experience conducting security design reviews, threat modeling, and privacy risk assessments
• Hands-on penetration testing experience and strong understanding of application, API, cloud, and data security
• Software development or scripting experience and ability to build tools and automate security workflows
• Familiarity with AI agent architectures and risks including prompt injection, tool execution, permissions, and data access
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain risks and mitigations
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct ERD security and privacy reviews of proposals, architecture, and data flows across applications, APIs, cloud infra, and AI systems
• Perform threat modeling to identify abuse paths and mitigations with engineering teams
• Assess and test AI agents including third‑party and internal tools for adversarial risks, data access, and integrations
• Build security automation to streamline reviews, threat modeling, evidence collection, and testing
• Conduct targeted penetration testing of services, apps, APIs, and AI agents
• Drive remediation and share knowledge with teams to prevent recurring security/privacy issues

Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
