Job summary

Greptile in San Francisco is seeking a security engineer to own the product, infrastructure, and internal security posture. You will consult on risky code changes, fix pentest findings, and coordinate vulnerability response.

You will design, implement, test, and deploy secure product and infrastructure improvements, working directly with engineers to embed security into building, not just review. This is a hands-on role for a fast-growing technical product.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• 3+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or security.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of application and cloud security.
• Experience on security-critical products and complex architectures.
• Strong judgment evaluating vulnerabilities and risk.

• Strong judgment when evaluating vulnerabilities, technical tradeoffs, and risk
