• Conduct thorough security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into new projects and initiatives.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends, and implement necessary countermeasures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with a strong background in network security and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• Experience with cloud security and understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
